The Treeosix Story
After 4 years of operation at our Cypress Hills location, we started to explore options for another site in Saskatchewan. Although we wanted to keep that same Treeosix feel to our experience, it was important for us to find a completely different backdrop for our guided zipline tours than what we currently had down in the southwest. After some location scouting in Waskesiu and area, we were fortunate enough to cross paths with a man named Arne Petersen.
After several phone calls and lots of driving (both for Jori travelling up to Elk Ridge and Arne and his team coming down to Cypress Hills), we were able to find a little spot of land on the resort that would work for our crazy adventures. By the spring of 2015, Treeosix was giving people a whole new perspective of this beautiful place, as we flew folks through the treetops above the Aspen 9-Hole golf course.
Although Arne no longer owns the resort, our shared goals of being ambassadors for the area and injecting some adrenaline into the boreal forest are still going strong everyday thanks to our crew, the new owners of Elk Ridge Resort, and the many local residents.
